Position Overview: ROLE TITLE : Detailer/Estimator Permanent Dayshift - WFH Building & Construction (Metal) Industry Fulltime – 40 hours / Week VA Rate : 10-11$AUD / hour Reporting : Will report to the Operations Manager (Business Unit: Operations – Berrinba) You will also work closely with our trade shop manager in detailing laser cutting drawings, and serve as a backup for our flashing detailer which entails work with estimators to do cost breakdowns. Position Purpose: · Collaborating with other departments, such as customer service, production and logistics, to ensure that jobs are ready for dispatch by the scheduled date and relay any delays in production to the customer. · Detailing flashings into the SWI program and maintain capacity report. · Scheduling trade work · Stock control & product receipting · Logistics Scheduling · Customer service support JOB DESCRIPTION : I. Detailing Flashing / Scheduling · Creating detailed drawings of metal flashing components using integrated software SWI/Marksman · Collaborating with estimators and customers, to ensure that the flashing details meet project specifications and building codes. · Calculating the materials and labour required to complete the flashing work. II. Stock Control · Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers. · Check all purchase orders against supplier confirmations · Process all purchase orders daily and ensure timely receipts for future deliveries. · Work in conjunction with purchasing officer to make sure receipting & images are completed. III. Logistics · Plan all next day deliveries. · Use relevant information to plan all pick ups from outside suppliers. · Utilize Odoo delivery planner to ensure the best possible routes are taken to reduce costs and minimize delays on site. IV. Customer Service Support · Answering phones if needed · Letting customers know ETA’s for deliveries. Requires former CAD Experience. · Experience in flashing/weatherproofing detailing is a Plus. · Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. · Strong organizational and time-management skills. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. · Ability to work independently and handle confidential information responsibly.
